What is the dress code?

Dark, moody, romantic. Think semi-formal vampire chic, minus the bloodshed. We want this to feel glamorous, theatrical, and a little outside the ordinary. Dark colors are encouraged, and you are absolutely welcome to lean into the theme, wear the wedding colors, or risk outshining the bride. In fact, we encourage it.

If that’s not your thing, no pressure. We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and like themselves.

May I bring my child?

Please note that this is an adults-only event. We love your children, but we ask that you leave the little ones at home for the evening.

What is the weather typically like in January?

January in Tijeras is typically chilly, and there may be snow on the ground. The ceremony will be outdoors, but relatively short. Standing heaters and blankets will be available for anyone who would like one. The reception will be indoors.

When should I arrive?

Help us get the party started on schedule! We recommend arriving 45 minutes before the ceremony so everyone has plenty of time to settle in.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, so we recommend arriving around 3:15 PM.

May I bring a plus-one?

Because of venue capacity and budget, we can only accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, that option will appear when you RSVP.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please respond by Tuesday, December 1st.

If your plans change afterward, you can return to the RSVP page and update your response using your invitation code.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Yes. After the ceremony, we’ll be serving light hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer, and cocktails.

Will there be dinner at the reception?

Yes. Dinner will be served buffet-style.

When you RSVP, please choose your preferred salad and main course so we can plan quantities accurately. We ask that everyone begin with the main course they selected, but once everyone has had a first plate, you’re more than welcome to go back and explore the other options.

Vegetarian selections will be available.

Is there a registry?

Your presence is more than enough, and gifts are not expected.

If you would like to give something, we’ve created two options: a contribution to our honeymoon fund or a donation to Animal Humane New Mexico. Both are available here on the wedding website under Gifts & Giving.
